Principal
  • Responsible for all aspects of managing individual structural engineering projects, including managing all personnel responsible for preparing structural calculations, construction documents and construction administration.

A brief list of projects includes:
  • Huntridge Theater Mezzanine Addition and Remodel, Las Vegas, Nevada. The project includes a second level theater balcony with new exterior buildings including a concession area, VIP rooms, and a kitchen.
  • The Cheesecake Factory, Sugar Land, Texas. This fast growing restaurant organization demanded a fast track schedule and we were able to respond. Complete structural design was delivered in less than 30 days and was fully coordinated with the entire design group.
  • Saved By Grace, Pahrump, Nevada. This 6000 square foot facility includes a Sanctuary, multi-purpose room, and several offices. To help control the structural cost, preliminary drawings were produced to insure that the project remains on budget.
  • MGM Residences Exterior Panels. Provide structural design and drawings for exterior panels of a 35-story residential tower.
  • Caesars Palace Convention Addition Exterior Wall System. Stick framing design and drawings for three level convention addition.
2000-2003 Lochsa Engineering, Las Vegas, Nevada
Project Manager
  • Responsible for all aspects of managing individual structural engineering projects, including managing all personnel responsible for preparing structural calculations, construction documents and construction administration.

A brief list of projects includes:
  • Mandalay Bay Convention Expansion, Las Vegas, Nevada, responsible for design of approximately one million square feet of the 2.4 million square foot convention center addition.
  • Royal Timeshare, Las Vegas, Nevada, 50-story concrete shear wall timeshare tower (not yet constructed).
  • ESPN Zones in Las Vegas, Nevada, Denver, Colorado and San Francisco, California, design and construction management of these themed restaurants located in existing casinos, retail centers, and at Pier 39, respectively.
  • Spa Resort Casino, Palm Springs, California, design and management of this 200,000 square foot open floor plan moment frame casino located in the heart of Palm Springs.
  • Fry’s Electronics, Las Vegas, Nevada, design and management of this 150,000 retail space utilizing concrete tilt up walls and a panelized roof system.
  • Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, Tampa, Florida, design and construction management of the 220,000 square foot casino lowrise.

  • Responsible for all aspects of managing individual structural engineering projects, including managing all personnel responsible for preparing structural calculations, construction documents and construction administration.

  • Bellagio Hotel and Casino, Las Vegas, Nevada, $1.5 Billion Hotel and Casino Resort. Responsible for the design of the low rise casino areas, porte cocheres, marquee signs, pool areas, and the lake structures
  • Mirage Convention Expansion, Las Vegas, Nevada, design and coordination of the Convention and Exhibit Hall Expansion including state of the art convention space and a full production theater.
  • Blue Water Hotel and Casino, Parker, Arizona, design and management of the casino lowrise and Colorado River access.
  • Venetian Hotel and Casino, Las Vegas, Nevada, design of the main marquee sign.
1995-1996 Krump Construction, Incorporated, Reno, Nevada
Project Engineer
  • Responsible for construction issues related to building construction. Duties involved shop drawing review, contractor/design team coordination, scheduling, and coordinating field repairs. Being a part of a construction team has provided invaluable experience in handling field related problems in a timely manner, therefore reducing construction costs and delays.
